You can adopt the Ileach dolphins - pod of seven bottlenose dolphins living off the coast of Scotland in the Hebrides. They are most often seen around the Island of Islay, which is how they got their name - 'Ileach' means 'of Islay'. Bottlenose dolphins are extremely intelligent mammals - inquisitive, playful and sociable. They were once a common sight, but threats like over fishing and pollution mean that dolphins have almost disappeared from our coastline.

Kiruba is a female Asian elephant who lives in Corbett National Park, in the Terai Arc lowlands of India. Kiruba is the dominant female in an extended family of 24 elephants. As the matriarch of the group she is relied upon to find food, water and safe habitat.

Kinyanjui is lucky. He has escaped the poachers who have slaughtered 95 per cent of rhino populations in recent decades. He is now one of less than 500 black rhinos left alive in Kenya. However, since we began supporting the Kenya Wildlife Service project in 1992, the population has risen. But numbers are still desperately low - which is why we need your help

Etin is a four-year-old orang utan who lives with his mother, Jenny, and family on the floodplain of the Kinabatangan river in Malaysia. The forests around them are threatened by logging and forest fires. Three quarters of the region's frontier forest has been cleared, so huge areas of prime orang utan habitat are in danger.

Joining WWF is easy and should take just two to three minutes. All you need to do is complete all the sections of the form
